Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Sr. Security Engineer with a strong background in Cisco ISE and Cisco Firepower to join our team as a consultant for a 6-month contract. As a consultant, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and guidance on Cisco ISE and Cisco Firepower implementation, configuration, and maintenance. This role is a hybrid role with much of the work being performed remotely, so the ideal candidate must have excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Responsibilities:
- Work with our clients to understand their network security requirements, and design and implement Cisco ISE and Cisco Firepower solutions that meet those requirements.
- Configure and maintain Cisco ISE and Cisco Firepower in a complex enterprise environment.
- Provide technical expertise on Cisco ISE and Cisco Firepower technologies and assist with troubleshooting and problem resolution.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
- Document all work performed and provide status updates to clients as needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with Cisco ISE and Cisco Firepower.
- Experience with other network security technologies such as VPNs, Firewalls, and IDS/IPS.
- Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Must be a green card holder or a US Citizen.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
- Cisco CCNP Security or Cisco CCIE Security preferred but not required.
- Cisco Umbrella is a nice to have.
- Cisco Stealth Watch is a nice to have.
