We are always looking for HVAC, Heating and Gas Systems Specialists support heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, furnace, boiler, mechanical-room, and fuel-gas systems across commercial, industrial, institutional, and residential construction environments to support our extensive AEC client base.
This category allows Cambridge to cover both mechanical engineering resources and licensed field professionals.
Responsibilities include:
- HVAC system design and installation oversight
- Furnaces, boilers, heat pumps and rooftop units
- Air-handling and ventilation systems
- Hydronic heating and chilled-water systems
- Natural-gas piping and distribution
- Gas pressure and load calculations
- Equipment selection and specification
- Mechanical-code compliance
- Controls and building-management-system integration
- Startup, testing, balancing and commissioning
- Troubleshooting and corrective-action support
Qualifications and certifications:
PE Mechanical, HVAC contractor licenses, EPA Section 608, NATE, OSHA 10/30, ASHRAE expertise, NFPA 54/National Fuel Gas Code knowledge, HVAC Excellence certifications and applicable state/local gas-fitter or mechanical licenses.
