Overview:

Our client, a global banking digital transformation firm, is currently seeking a Senior Vice President / Account Partner to manage a premier global Financial Client in New York City. The successful candidate will be responsible for expanding the firm’s presence and increasing revenue within the U.S. Trade Services, Capital Markets, and Investment Banking sectors of the client. This role offers access to a robust technical customer engagement team to support both early-stage prospecting and ongoing client pursuits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with essential stakeholders across various Lines of Business (LOBs) including Technology, Business, Operations, Sourcing/Procurement, and Vendor Management to understand and influence purchasing decisions.
  • Develop a comprehensive account plan incorporating intelligence on annual IT spending, competitive landscape, ecosystem dynamics, key transformational and ongoing programs, and opportunities for account displacement.
  • Collaborate closely with service lines such as Customer Experience, Process Excellence, AMS Reorganization, Quality Assurance, and Regulatory Compliance to align our offerings with client needs across LOBs.
  • Leverage insights into customer challenges in business and technology to lead proactive proposal efforts.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with procurement and strategic sourcing teams to facilitate negotiations and capitalize on RFP/RFI opportunities.
  • Manage all aspects of contract negotiations and renewals, maintaining rigorous weekly and monthly progress reviews with stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Deep experience and knowledge in Digital Transformation services and sales cycles.
  • Minimum of 15 years in Account Management, with a focus on growth and client retention.
  • Recent experience (within the last 12 months) managing or having managed account growth for a top-tier financial firm over the last 5-8 years.
  • Prior experience in an IT services and solutions environment. (Product experience is not relevant)
  • Proven track record of selling services and solutions within the sectors of Capital Markets, Investment Banking, Treasury, Trade, Securities, and Corporate & Commercial Banking.
  • Established relationships across top financial services accounts.
  • Experience in securing and managing large proposals valued between $5M and $20M.
